Stopped back at Watts Auto Salvage in Wymore, NE today(with batteries in my camera!). This is the '61 Cotner- Bevington Seville that I reported about a couple of weeks ago.

This 1957 Futura combination came from Missouri.

This car appears to be one I shot near Springfield, MO about 30 years ago. I'll post the picture once I find it.

This 1963 C/B and 1947/48 Flxible were seen in a salvage yard near Goodman, MO in 1990. The camera flash gives a good view of the Comet-C/B "double bubble" tunnel light lenses:

Were the C-B "Double Bubble" lenses something that had been used as taillight lenses on a passenger car from a prior year, or was it a lense that C-B used exclusively?

I believe that the Goodman, MO yard crushed everything when the owner passed away around 10 or so years ago.

I think that's the car that used to run around Salem Mass giving haunted tours every Halloween. I have not seen it in years. I think they were called Mass Hysteria. They put a lot of money into that 70.I think they had 2 , the 70 and a 75 or something.

Were the C-B "Double Bubble" lenses something that had been used as taillight lenses on a passenger car from a prior year, or was it a lense that C-B used exclusively?

Those lenses came from a 1950-1952 Buick and were probably purchased from a local dealer's parts department. Using such lenses to create emergency roof/tunnel lights was not uncommon. Many manufacturers created distinctive lights using this method. For example, some Eureka ambulances in 1963-1964 used the lenses from 1961 Buicks to create distinctive tunnel lights.

Henney 3-Way

How many builders used Henney's 3-way table and for how many years was that same table used? I just remember my '56 Meteor having the Henney 3-Way build tag mounted on the rear floor.
