Take a guess... win a prize in Hudson !

Dana

I would say closest. A little over but still closest is good for me.

Bruce

I'm not married ! ...or with 10 cars I would likely be divorced !

Great guess's so far !

Thanks for playing. The prize will be a good one.

I replaced the air filter today.
The guy across the street works at a car parts shop.

I asked him to get me a new air filter.
He said the GM one listed for 120.00 !
He said he could find one that listed at 60.00. Half the price.

His cost was 35.00 so that is what he charged me.

I still thought 35.00 was a lot for a air filter.

Nothing to do with the contest but I am still replacing parts.
The contest is for whats listed that was done in the US before receiving the car.

Keep bidding !

Tom, Paul... where are your bids ?

Darren

high air cleaner $

Even $35 sounds like a high price for an air cleaner. Are we talking the paper filter element here? I think my last one was $14 US. Maybe you should be buying them over here.

My bid

So is this like "Price is Right" closest bid without going over wins, well if so I bid $1

Dan

I don't want to give any hints but let me say that it was many thousands of times higher than your bid.

I suggest you re-bid so you are in the ball park at least.

...and closest even if it is a little higher but still closest.

You can do it ! A second try is permitted for the host of last years meet !

Darren

Make sure you get you bid in BEFORE the cut off time of:
Friday July 8th 2011 !
At midnight !

All bids after that will be N.F.G. !

Thanks for playing...

Darren

P.S. Ladies are welcome to bid too !!!
You know you are smarter than the guys !

Just a reminder that you have 3 days to get your bid in for a chance to win a prize in Ohio at the 2011 PCS meet.

Hey, take a guess, you never know, you may win !

Darren

P.S. You don't even need to be there to win !

$4,250.00 USD

Here's an interesting problem.... I typed USD (in all capitals) after the dollar amount and the system keeps automatically changing it to usd. I have edited it three times trying to make it ALL CAPS.

Now that his text is present, the USD sticks. I even edited again to remove all text after line one and it reverts to lower case. Strange.

Test to see if it is the software, or Kevin's computer...

$4,250.00 USD

$4,250.00 usd

I am inclined to believe that it is Kevin's computer that is making the change. Possibly a "quirk" of a spelling program? Anyone else that cares to give this a test, please test below. If there is a problem with the software, I need to know. Thanks Paul

Just a quick reminder that you have about 25 hours to get your bid in !!!

I will be out of Toronto for most of the day tomorrow without computer access so here is your reminder.

Looking forward to putting the list of people together and finding out who wins the prize !!!

Thanks to all who placed a guess ! Good luck to all !

See ya in a few days !

Wooohooooo,
Darren

All bids should be in USD !

I paid for all the repairs in USD.
...Until I got home and them they were all in CDN but these additional repairs are not included in this guess.

Right now CDN is worth .04 above the USD.
104.00 CDN on a 100.00 US.

Dan should up his bid several thousand times ;)
