So who all didn't get to make the trip to Daytona?

not in Florida

I am not in Florida. Not for a lack of thinking about it. More for a lack of a running procar. My 61 has been out of the garage a couple times. No trans leak that we can see. A few more exhaust leaks to take care of. For some reason....maybe because of sitting for over a year...the engine is running rough. So no trips soon for me.

Typed up with planning for July 1

July 1 is Canada Day and we get a couple of hundred thousand folks come to celebrate in the capitol so its a little crazy busy in the weeks leading up to it getting everything organized to provide paramedic coverage....kind of the annual all-hands-on-deck day....:)

Robert, have been to Ottawa July 1st celebrations, must be a logistical nightmare,we have similar shows here in Woodstock, but the nations capital goes all out,and is the premier of celebrations,if anyone is near there Sunday July 1/12 well worth the trip, and take in my fav.the market district.:smileflagcan:

Seems like there are quite a few of us that aren't able to make it to Daytona.

Just like others, I can provide a list of reasons that I couldn't make it. Finances top that list and another show in Massachusetts is second in line and etc.

I'm not going as my 69 has the engine getting rebuilt. The 74 is reliable, but not worth the trouble and doesn't need "The ugliest car" trophy or a parking spot by the Port-a-potties again. Once was more then enough. :wtf:

It's a tight economy and I could not justify flying to FL. in June!
Hope all is well and looking forward to hear where next years meet is going to be! Hopefully it will be around Ohio, MI, or PA-where so many pro cars reside. It's hard to follow last years meet in Hudson! Peace and respect to all

2013 PCS International Meet will be in Milwaukee. Type 2013 PCS International Meet in this sites search engine and you can see Patrick Martins thread for information.
