So who all didn't get to make the trip to Daytona?

Would like to have gone but Tooooooooo many things going on, family, cars, friends, Scout Camp and that last pesky issue WORK. I dont know how I got spread this thin. Hopefully 2013 will be better. Stay seafe everone.

announcing the first annual couldnt make it to daytona international pro car meet. open to all members who couldnt make it to daytona only!!no pro car needed to atend all you need is time to go. if you cant afford it, financial help is available from all the usual loan sharks and other crooked lendors(banks, loan sharks,etc...)we could have it at the site of your choice either Seattle, wash. or key west florida your choice. garenteed to have a good time because you can attend wenever you want. no set date. simply mail your 100.00 reservation fee to my secret pro car mailbox and i will send your reservation confirmation to you by snail mail. please only send cash as my bank accounts have been seized by uncle sugar(thats the us goverment to you canadians)as you can tell i didnt make it either so lets have some fun and plan your own private meet. again it is most important that you mail only cash as it will fecilatate a faster response. LETS PARTY!!!!
 
Opted to rescue yet another procar this week - not that a FL meet was enticing. Picture coverage of this event will provide enough for me. Hope that those attending have a blast.

Vacation requests go in the previous May, and Jen is still new on her nursing floor. She transferred from the ER to Labor and Delivery.

Brendan I know EXACTLY what you mean......My wife is a PICU nurse and her vacation requests HAVE to be in the PREVIOUS Jan 31 per union contract.
Sure makes it hard sometimes to plan a year or more in advance for days off and vacations......althought she does have 30+ years seniority so that pretty much puts her in front of the line...lol.....:893USA-Smilie-thumb
 
I won't be in Daytona, but have every attention of attending the Milwaukee and Rochester events!

I couldn't go because the move to June put it during our family beach vacation. We've been doing it for nearly twenty years and nothing takes precedence over this trip. By nice coincidence it's been cooler than usual here on the SC coast, while things are supposed to warm up to the mid 90s by the end of the week at home! Hope everyone in Daytona has a great time!
 
I work: I have 3 funerals this week, I moove in my new house and 3rd reason my wife and baby don't have their passport and she don't trust me out the border :festive:

Unfortunately I couldn't Josh, and I only live in Clearwater! But I'm swamped at work and just can't get away. :(
