On The Way, Counting Down

Are those seat belt anchors along the squad bench, just above the cushions?

Those are seat belt anchors and there are seat belts to go with them. They are in a box in the garage with the interior rear view mirror, the side door interior pull and the right side hanging hardware. I have to get some new cotter keys for them.

looking good Ron.......wished mine looked that nice !

It was surprising it did clean up that good when I first opened that door. It was deja vu from the day the Ford arrived. I am anxious to get to work on her today, I took a vacation day for it.

Should have taken a medics sick day, either "having a cardiac episode"=my heart isn't in coming to work today. OR "having a vision problem"=can't see myself coming to work today. either way enjoy every minute of it..

No, it's called "Rectal Glaucoma". As in, "I can't see my

going to work today!"

Ron, it's looking really good, I'm happy it's in such good shape!

Almost, but not quite...

The interior on that thing looks ALMOST as good as the '64 that somebody sold us!!!

Looking good Ron. How about some exterior shots? Kinda want to get a peek at those 175's., see if they really need to stay or if a Twinsonic would look better. :D:D:D

I drove south yesterday.

Paid a visit to "Fat Girl". Looks good, and with Ron's efforts I think she look great.

Today's Recap Man My A$$ is Dragging

So started out the day going to the Chiropractor to put the back back from climbing up and down the ladder and getting in and out of the car yesterday. Next stop was the auto parts store for:
2 Bottles Seafoam 1 crankcase, 1 gas tank (runs fine but thought I heard something)
2 New windshield wipers
1 Rear view mirror re-attachment kit
1 Sealed beam to replace broken loading light
Goodbye 50 bucks
Next stop Lowe's:
Pack of screws to fit Motorola mounting brackets
Glue to reattach formica that came loose
Omaha Orange Duck Tape to patch that nasty rip in rear door until fixed
Now gone home pulled rig into the biggest rental garage I have, had to grease sides to get it in and fold in mirrors.
Went over entire car with a clay bar, polished chrome and waxed the entire thing some things twice.
Now the BIG question: As you can see they had turned the "AMBULANCE" sign around. I pulled the gasket out and found they didn't put it in quite tight and there was water back there. Dried it out cleaned it but putting it back isn't as easy as taking it out. What is the easy way to do this?
The good news is a lot of the little rust spots are gone and the great news is the Omaha Orange came back to full life. Also more good news........those are GLASS domes ..................sorry Russ.

Loftin-MacPherson Help

This has been a great day of discovery for me. First, I was in Joanne Fabrics shopping for material for new airline curtains for the Fatgirl. Never found what I needed BUT found Omaha Orange vinyl that matches my door panels YAY! So in taking off the door panel I found numbers taped on the panel that I believe are Superior's version of a build sheet. What do the numbers tell you? I suspect my car was made in March of 73. "No.7335 CEPO No.73354
3-12-73

Did they have any red similar to what was used in 1970's as well. My wheel house covers in back of Lifeliner are faded pretty good. May go ahead and replace that vinyl down road sometime! What about white vinyl?
