Omaha Orange or Lime Green ?

I just acquired a 1973 MM Lifeliner that's all white ( repainted from original Omaha Orange/white). Changing my mind daily about repainting it original color or going with something more eye-popping and less institutional ( although I do like the orange). I viewed "Ed R" 's youtube video of his newly bought 1974 MM Criterion in two-tone lime/white. I love how it makes a big, heavy, solemn vehicle look fun and youthful ( if that makes sense).

Was hoping veterans here could give some advice and maybe even have some more examples of color schemes that you prefer. Thank you.

What color is the interior? That might have some bearing on the color choices. You dont want the inside & outside clashing.

I doubt that the carpet is correct. I would change the carpet to black and paint it periwinkle blue with a white roof. No..... I am not kidding.

M-M Colors

How about a traditional red and white?
1973 M-M Lifeliner still owned by the Original owner, Chester, NJ First Aid Squad

North Ambulance (Minneapolis) Lifeliner Colors

Black over red. Good luck on the Mars Aurora Borealis light. Chicago Fire also had this color scheme.

Mike, I am having a similar problem with my 1968 Miller Meteor combo. It is Regal Silver, black interior. My wife definately wants to change the color, but I could leave it, or change it. So far, we have had many different thoughts, but we will see.

Your Lifeliner looks nice all white, but I think some blues, or greens would look great, eventhough the red looks great too. I like almost any color. Good luck deciding!

Mike,
First off Congratulations on your acquisition !! She looks really solid and is a real looker !!!
In my opinion you really cant go wrong with the classic red/white,no matter HOW its laid out....red and white the way to go !
Here are 2 pictures from my 70 that was just finished this morning. And also one of my 72 that is WHITE/Red.....
Whatever your decision.... have fun with it and enjoy !!
