Do you have any pictures of the 49 caddy's rear end, and have you ever had it apart to change or update anything?
The reason I'm asking, I'm doing my 48 Chevy and I'm looking for any info and pictures that might be the same? Thanks.

I do have a couple pix of the rear end but cant post them here. Send me a email (through my profile here for address), and I can send you the ones I have. It has been apart s little, to replace the wheel bearings and pinion seal, other than that its still original inside. . Not sure if it would have the same rear as your chevy, as its the Cadillac commercial chassis rear end, which differed greatly from even the standard Cadillac rear end that year.
