Daytona Ambulances

Yes, EVAC is still the 911 ambualnce provider in Volusia County. Halifax Health ambulance is associated with Halifax Hospital which has hospitals and care centers in Volusia and Flagler Counties, Fl.

That's the '73 Ford Econoline short wheel base that the Speedway bought to replace a '63 Superior Pontiac low top as the infield care center ambulance. I don't recall who converted the Ford or what happened to it after its' life at the Speedway, but it shows up in a lot of press photos.
