Bushing for a WRL

Post a picture of where the bearing goes on the siren. Are you sure that it is a bearing, not a bushing?

They are brass bushing in the motor. It would appear in playing with it that the rear one is the one giving the problem. Letting the shaft move so the noise maker caches the outer cage. It's the one off the 53 a 6 volt. You here more grinding noise then siren.

Thanks, Dan, I'll keep them in mind. I may have gotten the problem taken care of. Got everything apart. Notice the track on the back side of the wheel were it was dragging on a screw. It looks like this was made up from a few different parts im sure the motor was changed it has a flat spot on it for the set screw that doesn't fit were the set is. So we trimmed the screws holding at cage on added a flat washer to space the wheel off the motor and keep it from sliding back. Took some playing with the set screws to keep it straight on the shaft but once i found the sweet spot she howledIMG_0221.jpgIMG_0220.jpgIMG_0218.jpg.

I would complain to the person who sold you that siren and ask for a full refund. Just send it back to that person and wait for a check in the return mail. :071:
