So do I Richard. I regret selling my 1978 LifeLiner to Marty Schmeiser, although selling it made my wife very happy, at that time.
Window Crosses
I tend to believe this was prob a dealer mistake. On literature i found on some of the C/B ambulances ordered for our firm there was more than one note to ship the streamers loose and not applied to the window since we always lettered and painted our rear quarter windows. But then the dealer could have them when the vehicle was traded in and apply them for the next customer, and then this is when I believe the mistake of applying them backward could have happened. Just my 2 cents worth

Which one to use?
I had nice 174 and 175-D beacons in the garage, but neither skirt was long enough to be cut to fit my roof and match the height of the 176. The 174 had a glass dome; the 175, plastic. The 176 has a perfect plastic dome, so I'm keeping it for originality.
Thanks to Gary Cahill at Rescue Market I have two new skirts, three new roof gaskets, and a replacement glass dome for the 175. The original 176 skirt was used as a pattern from which to trim the new ones. The data plates were transferred from their original skirts. The gaskets will be notched as the originals. Fortunately all three originals are in good shape, so I'll keep them for spares.
While I now have a beacon for every mood, the 174 will likely stay on the car:
