Just got off the phone finalizing the deal on this 1971 Miller-Meteor Combination. We will be picking it up in the near future. The lighting wasn't the greatest for photos.
What a looker! 71 is such a nice year in all white, coincidentally second one seen on the forum in the last few days all white, and I think they are beautiful like that.
Here are some photos from yesterday: Beautiful weather to pickup a pro car. Other than a minor dirty carb issue (sputtering during accerleration) my brother drove it the over 100 miles home.
1. Time to wake up. Path cleared by seller.
2. First sun in six plus years. Pushed outside by six of us.
3. It lives. Hadn't been ran in six plus years. After we checked the fluids and other important issues the owner got in and fired the car up. (hood stays up on its own but due to the weight of the two speakers on the hood we used the broom handle for safety while working under the hood).
4. Dust collection.
5. Last spin before the sale. The owner drove up the driveway and back.
6. Shower time.
7. Side shot. Only side shot I took yesterday. This photo was before washing.
What a great group of people we dealt with during this transaction. The owner and his family as well as one of their friends helped to push the car out and were helpful throughout the process. Truly enjoyed meeting these folks and plan to keep in touch. I will post more photos soon.
