Hi All!
Well, it's been a real welcome from many lovely folks. Sarah guided me through the process of getting signed up again and Paul was very helpful today in giving some wonderful guidance on heating issues for the '56!
John, I'm in a little town about two hours from Des Moines. Feel free to PM me and we'll make plans to meet up very soon! I really look forward to seeing your '49 hearse! What a beauty!
Darren, you were a joy to meet those several years ago in Burbank and the pictures that you kindly sent to me were so appreciated!
Yeah, my little crowd truly did our best to elevate the level of class when we rolled in with our little group. It always amazes me just how many people who go to hearse shows that won't even wash their coach. It takes so little effort to make those great old cars look their best! I try!
Part of the bonding with these great old cars is going through them, detailing them, reading the shop manual and cleaning them. Even if you're not a wrenchhead, you can still learn a lot by going through the manuals and getting a real sense of what makes the coach tick. Even breaking down can be a good thing because when you do, you learn how to fix something!
Yes, my pal Norm did me a great honor by passing the torch to me in being the one to take care of this great '56! I hope I can bring something to the table here in sharing my adventures and hearing about all of yours, too!
It's all about the cars, baby!
Your pal,
Bry
