You have to agree, looks much better

so now look up the car and see when it was built. put the right one on it. the bracket will fit ether baffle. the apron is not correct with the one you have on it now. I one I found you is the early 74 so from 9/73 to12/73. the one you have now is from 1/74 to 6/74. so when was you car built? one way to tell is look at the other inner fender bracket if there are holes in it for the rubber then it had the early one on it if not then it had the late one . the horns look better black.

I replaced my apron with the one you sent me because it is in better shape.

that's cause I fixed that one. so if your 74 had the apron in it you should have the baffle I sent you. the early one to be correct for the car. the brace will go on it. but if you want to keep the other one take the apron off. the design was to cut off some of the engine heat from the intake. the next generation went up and brought the air in from in front of the radiator support. looking for some ram effect as it went down the road. it was in these years that they upped the temperature of the engines to 190 and they were trying to stop the dieseling when you shut it off and keep cold air to the carburetor keep one system or the other don't mix and match. use some of the foam tire spray and a stiff brush to clean up the plastic. spray it on let it sit a then scrub it with the brush and wipe it off with a terry cloth. it will shine like new.

You're right Ed, Robert's does not have the apron. Thanks.

did you find me one of the 82 to 92 square 6 doors with a 350.

I'm looking at your pictures and I cant tell. the plastic end is supposed to be sticking threw the radiator support. there is a stamped hole for it. and it should sit between the battery and the radiator not over the top. of course the caddy did not have a battery there so it's a tight squeeze

Ah these youngsters.

Flit was an insecticide that had a pump and reservoir not unlike Paul's photo. As I recall the pump was tin and an orange color, the handle was wood, and the reservoir was refillable. (Gosh, I'm old!):respect:

man would get really tired painting a car with it between the pumping the handle and running back to fill the tank you would get your exercise in no doubt. but most likely better then a new straw broom and a 5gl bucket
