Why Would Anyone Do This To A Pro-Car

It is a beautiful and unique coach, they sure didn't skimp on any trim thats for sure. Ok Jeremy, wonder how many S&S made of these, and for how many years did they make this option.

Instead of the hardtop posted earlier here is one with a fold down canvas top.
**Scanned from Greg Merksamer's book "Professional Cars", I hope this is ok.

Ed, you reminded me of a verse from a song my late father used to sing to me when I was very young....

Well, the old man kept on a-playin' at his reel,
And he tapped the ground with a leathery heel.
"Git along", said he, "for you give me a pain.
My cabin never leaks when it doesn't rain."

Thanks for the very pleasant flash-back!

When Eureka revived the Town Car style hearse in the 80's I heard they came with an umbrella because the top was guaranteed to leak. Not sure if that statment was true or not.

Eureka ---EurLeaka

I bought a '88 Eureka in '89, it was a great car, liked it so much that in '95 I bought a new Eureka. It poured water in every place that could leak. What a mess! The carpet smelled like a wet dog. To their credit, Eureka did send the car back to the factory and reworked the car. They did everything they could to resolve the issue and restore our faith in them. It was good customer service.
