Why Would Anyone Do This To A Pro-Car

Why would anyone want to trash a beautiful pro-car like this. Mike, just think, you could have one of these.

Who would do this you ask? Actually S&S would and did! This might very well have been a flower car/funeral coach that they built for a few years. It was called the Park Place. It has (or had) a removable canvas landau rear top. Some were built for the Spitler Funeral Home in PA. This could very well have been at one time one of those cars.

First thing I thought of when I saw this was the Ambuwrecker.

This was also my first thought!

Interior Surfaces

Does anyone know the material S&S used to fabricate the surfaces of the floor, side walls and the interior surface of the rear door? It may have been S.S. or Aluminum??? I would say those curtains were drenched more than a few times when those sudden thunder storms pop up at funeral time.
