what am I in need of?

these early boxes were the death of the cars based ambulances . but more likely the exit of funeral directors were just as big a factor. they are a piece of earl'y EMS Hx and will worth restoring. we worked out of a 72 Wayne dodge van for a while. driving it was kind of like ridding a foot ball. but it did the job.

Yup, I was mainly referring to the missing "D" but I did notice the Indian head logo missing. Thought it was kind of funny.

I am wondering if this is a field modification, as all of the pics I have seen of them from brochures (all of which are pictured) have a single beacon. I also notice that the ambulance decals are missing as well as there is a dent in the drivers fender as well as down the sides. My guess is that this ambulance was a well used prop by the time this movie was made.

HI Kaleb. The lightbar was probably ordered as an Option. Same for any equipment in our vehicles that was supplied by the Company building the ambulance part of the unit. if you look through your pamphlet it should tell you what was optional for your unit

tunnel lights

It looks like the rear (red) tunnel lights and the side (downward facing) tunnel lights could be the same as what I am looking for. Can anyone identify these?

The holes for the forward facing tunnel lights in my van measure 4 inches. I would imagine that they would be slight larger with the bezel. I am taking a guess that all the tunnel lights where glass bulbs, and not plastic lenses.
thanks
