Volunteer Chapter 2013 Winter Meet

I wish I could see the Towing museum. Take lots of pics!

I won't be going to the tow truck museum, but here are a couple pics I took when there in 2000. Keep in mind these were with a 2.1 megapixel, which was high end at the time!

Background on this Packard is that it had been an ambulance before it's towing career. A Henney I assume.

They want us!

Passing along some info from Raimie, our tour coordinator, from Coker

If you can have the names to me no later than 5:00pm on November 13th, I would be eternally grateful!

We have some photography planned for your group. It would be absolutely wonderful if you could all arrive 20-30 minutes early for the tour at 2:00pm. We will have the front lot blocked off so that only the professional cars can park there. Our photographer will take some pics of the cars as well as a group photo on the front steps. We will most likely post your visit on our Facebook page, although it may show up in Corky's Blog as well!

Let me know if the timing will work for you. I'm looking forward to this tour!

Social Circle, nice area, picked up my green 2000 crown vic police car there. Used by the forest service as commanders car.

Social circle has its benefits and drawbacks.

I just booked my room for friday night. I'll get up there probably about 6:00 or so. God willing, i'll roll up in miss abigail. It will be great to meet everyone.

Wish i could stay saturday, but i have my own hearse club event to run saturday night.

Put me down for 2 for the Coker Tour tentatively, myself and my wife Mary. Planning on puttering around Chattanooga Friday morning....booked a room with y'all Friday night and need to depart mid afternoon Saturday. Gonna be nice to see some faces I aint seen in ages. :p

The van is gassed up......the wife didnt pack a WHOLE suitcase......we're ready. Mary kicking the bed to rile me at 6:30am tomorrow morning, some coffee and we're off!

Thank You!

I'd like to thank everyone that took the time to attend the meet last weekend. 6 states were represented, TN, GA, FL, OH, KY & NC. Those attending were Danny Ryder, Cynthia Hensley, Mike Stevens, Dwayne Brooks, Cary & Mary Livingston, Adam, Jen & Andrew (Andrew's 1st PCS meet and museum tour!) Borkat, Larry & Jo Sanders, Gene & Vonda William, David & Jody Wall, Dave Petke, Pete Bain, Ryan Ricks, Jeremy Ledford & myself. I hope I didn't leave anyone out, but if I did someone please add them! We had lots of fun. It's true, if you leave a Volunteer Chapter meet hungry, it's nobody's fault but your own!! Chances are our Winter Meet 2014 will be held at the same location, there is so much more there that we can do! I'd also like to thank everyone that has posted pictures! Thanks, everybody!! :applause:
