These are great Darryl, thanks for posting them. Something I noticed in several of the earlier ones is that often the head of the cot was raised on the deceased victims. I thought that was unusual until I figured that funeral home people were handling them and maybe that's to promote blood drainage from the head to make preparation of the body easier for whoever was going to have that task? I bet some of the funeral directors here can shed light on this.
 
No, but I sure would like to see more photos of that 1970 MM Ambulance in the background.

I am planning on going by that station in the next few days. Roanoke Life Saving and First Aid Crew is the world's oldest volunteer rescue squad and I am sure that they would love to share pictures and such. I would be grateful if they allowed me to scan some to preserve them. ;)
