Vehicle Transportation

Your polite, quiet neighbours to the north. Today the professional car hobby, tomorrow the world.
:smileflagcan:

Oh and those geese, they keep watching out for new car finds.

you caught us,they are equipped with mini cams and directed to fly over scrap yards in search of vehicles, canadian point, they will pre announce their passing overhead,so our advise.Do Not look up,see ya all in Ohio...

WOW !!!

Looks like the car may be picked up tomorrow.

Pretty fast as they originally said it is usually a week or could even be longer.

A day and a half is great !

I will let you know how it goes,
Darren

We need to stop this mass migration of all the old cars leaving the US.

I also believe that we should stop those Canadian Geese from sneaking into our country and taking over ponds by squatting.

My parents always told me...

If you can't say something nice... don't say anything at all !

I will listen to them on this one... for now.

If you are between Nebraska and Michigan and you see my 1960 Cadillac S/S Victoria 3way go by on a car transporter, way and say hello !

It's making it way to Detroit !

Sancrest subcontracted to Rebel Yell.

Wooohoooo,
Darren

As soon as I get it home Josh !

That will be after I piss Paul off exporting it to Canada at Detroit and driving it home from Windsor to Toronto.

Photos are coming ! ...and I plan to have it in Ohio if all goes well.

Hang in there,
Darren

P.S. Paul would have no problem importing a car to the US from Canada like any other car nut.

Just :yankchain: Paul !

The transport company called the repair shop where I had the car being worked on to tell them they would be stopping by to pick up the car.

The shop said they wanted to see the money in their account before they released the car. Being Friday, that would be Monday.

The trucker waited until Monday and went by and picked up the car !
I was impressed with the trucker big time.

Friday I called the transporter out of courtesy and told them to leave it and I will wait until the next truck passes by. I wouldn't have waited all week-end so I never figured they would either. But they did !

The car left Nebraska on Monday and arrived today in Michigan. 1 week delivery time. 900 miles, 900.00 dollars

Since the holiday today prevents me from getting a temporary permit to drive it home, I will be picking it up on Thursday.

Digger will drive me to Michigan and I will drive the new addition home.
Then to Hudson in July !!!

I will post photos as soon as possible. Just wanted to update the status on the car.

The guy needed to remove 5 cars to get mine off so it took a while.

He said he hasn't had so much attention to his load in about 10 years !
He said every time he stopped or fueled up people would talk to him about the 60 Cadillac hearse.

He was a great guy and I tipped him well.

More info and photos coming soon,
Darren

Even though I see you removed a pro car from Washington to Canada, I have this to say: I'd rather see a procar cross the border to a PCS home in Canada where we still have opportunity to see it at a PCS meet than for it to go overseas to a non PCS member, never to be seen again. No offense intended to PCS members in Australia or Great Britain. At least with them, we can still "visit" the cars online.
