I haven't heard of it. I just looked it up online. Looks like it was discontinued in the US before I was born.

Not positive but I think it is. BTW if you hear that damn jingle"........brusha, brusha, brusha with the new Ipana", you'll be hearin' it the rest of the week.

I was finally able to get across Toronto to the East side where Dave's ambulance was to get some photos.
I also took him a get well card on behalf of the PCS.
Photos will be posted below.
Dave was still in a lot of pain from being crushed by the ambulance.
He showed me the bruising on his arm and told me about his broken ribs and trying to sleep at night.
In fact, you can see his body indent in the passenger door of his car.
He is truly lucky to be alive.
He pointed out to me the trench in his lawn where the front tire of this 6000 lb car was pushed SIDEWAYS FOR 13 FEET !
The lady said she was doing 40 kms an hour (25 miles) and was able to push this heavy car 13 feet gouging out the front lawn with the passenger side front tire.
The front end has quite a bit of damage but he will get it back to restored condition as he is looking to buy another car for all the parts he needs. It even cracked his windshield !
He is still VERY upset to say the least. I think he is more upset about the car then all the pain he is in. I feel for the guy and his car !!!
He was thrilled to get the car on a Wednesday and a couple days later by Friday this is what he had... see for yourself !

I actually made calls in this car, and Steve Lichtman drove it in a movie. Five of these were delivered to Central in Tulsa and assigned unit numbers 61, 63, 64, 65, and 66. The disposition of the other cars is discussed elsewhere in this site.

Yes, he has a lawyer involved in the case. The police charged her.
Don't know the exact details.
He doesn't have a computer so he doesn't get on this site he told me.

Wow. But yeah, it looks fixable, and most of the body damage is to Cadillac parts, not much damage to the Superior body, so it should be a bit easier to find parts.
One more inch and she'd have hit the fire hydrant and not the ambulance. Then he and the ambulance might have been wet, but unhurt.
Hope he recovers quickly.
I can't wait to see the car, I do remember it (as Steve Loftin said, I drove it one day in a movie scene in Tulsa - I have no idea what movie though).

got it in a soft spot lookes liek teh upper a arme took the brunt. fron what i see the bumber will pull out the fender and headlight will been to be changed along with most likly the inner fender. the damage on the supension will have to be checked out closly now way to tell on that kind of stuff just looking. the suport is not over as the right fender did not buckle. so if they have any trpuble we can help find pats here

Hard job but fixable, at least it's the "Cadillac" part of the car, easier to find a donor car.

I'm a little confused. At the 2006 International Meet in Kingsport there was an ex-Central 1976 Superior that was owned by a gentleman from the Chicago area. If memory serves his first name was Neal. Is this the same vehicle or are there more than one of Central's 1976 Superiors still in existence? The pictures I have from Kingsport show the side roof signs with the words 1976 Superior on them.
The car you saw in Kingsport is the one being discussed in this thread (Central 63). The current owner (Dave) bought it from someone in Wisconsin.
Central 65, the one sold to Smith F.H. in Sapulpa, OK, is privately owned in the Tulsa area and awaiting restoration.
The other three (61, 64, and 66) were sold to Eastern in Lincoln, NE:
