This is what happens when you attempt to lift a Superior high top by the roof with a fork lift!

They had moved it to the front of the yard, which made my work easier, as someone else had recently purchased the 429 out of it. I bought 3 of the 4 CC rims and a bunch of other stuff that I will never need or sell.

My 1976 Superior also needed a replacement dome light lens. I removed the "chrome" base and found #8732781 on the back. An internet search showed that was also used on a 68-87 El Camino. The replacement I ordered from eBay for $9.75 was a perfect fit. Your rig may have a different base, but I suggest you try a similar route as an original lens is often burned brown or very fragile.

A picture is worth a lot at these times. You will find these type of things were all sourced from GM suppliers old stock. The only thing you know is it can't be newer then the car.

The Superior dome lights were totally different than what M-M used. I have a drawer-full of the style that Superior used. They used them on the El Caminos and also in the rear of most GM station wagons with third-row seating. If I have one, I have 2 dozen of those.
