I know the rules, since Dan Herrick and I wrote them during my first term as President. Thanks for bringing them to the attention of the other members, however, there is one error that I can see. I will bring this up with Dan Herrick to see if my recollection matches up with his.

Was not this a hold over from the old judging method were cars competed agents each other. The idea was to move the top cars in a class by them selves rather the awarding them first place every meet. Giving others a chance at awards. When we redid the judging to go agents a standard point scale it eliminated cars competing agents one another and this class was dropped with all the rest of them.

The Senior Car Award was refined and changed, and it appears that some of the details have been lost. Yes, we did change the judging rules when I was president, however, it appears that there is a disconnect from what was decided and what made it into print. All cars start off with a fixed amount of points, and then points are deducted in each category for deficiencies in each of those categories. At the bottom of each page of the judging sheets, the number of deductions is added up, and then the total of the 3 pages of deductions is subtracted from the original starting number to determine the cars total award points.

As I remember, the '86 H&E limo was awarded senior car, but I can't say when at the time they gave out a grill badge. I would have to go look in the glove box.
