From my above post I hadta look up Hardee Adams...while I found little about them I did stumble on this semi related article. Here A 63 or 4 MM at same Haunted House.....makes ya wonder if this was a Hardee Adams car at one time as well...

RARE RARE RARE 63 MM "Futura" that was on ebay in 08. It appears to of been a 3way....anyone know it's whereabouts? Tony seemed to know a bit about this car.

Caught wind that DVAP had a decent, dry, restorable '60 Superior Pontiac military ambulance come in. Wasn't surprised learning upon calling that it had already sold. The price it brought however (as shown) - now that's a different story.

In my opinion, the saddest photo in the thread :(

So the background on this hearse is that it was sold at auction last Wednesday. I guess it had been sitting out behind the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, England waiting to be restored. I had said to a few friends, both RR fans and hearse fans, that someone would buy it for the Rolls Royce chassis and scrap the body. Nailed that one, huh?

This is why we see so few vintage Rolls Royce hearses. The "hearse" is worthless, but the "Rolls Royce" fetches a premium.
