Here are some new photos of my 1963 Cadillac Superior, out at Ed Renstrom's. I have been slowly adding photos to my album, and they are on Ed's dropshots, but here are a couple new ones. Ed is one talented guy. By the way, there is nothing better than a vintage Cadillac fin! In my humble opinion.:specool:

Nice work, Looks amazing !

Ed... That is your "Lovely Assistant" or "Beautiful Assistant" !

Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see it in person sometime soon.

Nice Brendan, very nice. Ed certainly has a talent for this stuff and I know you will be one proud SOB when he gets her done. Rumors are you will be picking it up in Daytona sometime next year. That would be great!

surprising how much I depend on her. there I just so many times that you need two hands. the side doors I can get by my self but the rear is impossible to hold up and start a bolt. so I would call her my indispensable assistant. she does how ever look prettier and smell better then any one else I have have worked with. so we are vary careful how we treat the help. here are a couple of shots of her helping taken about a year apart.

Neat Ed. Looks like Kandy has the same clothes on but died her hair grey. There are times when "The Wife" can be indispensable. Currently I would like to see that works! :hide:

What else can be said? That car is simply AWESOME! I just love that color. Keep up the great work! And I agree with your statement about the fins. WAY COOL!

Congratulations to Brendan and Ed both - that car is going to be absolutely amazing! Can't wait to see it all finished!!

Congratulations Brendan ! that is one beautiful '63 !
Ed, Nice job laying down the paint. Can you comment on what type of paint you used ?
Cheers,Pat

that would be the at the end of this year obsolete DuPont centari with the 793 hardner. it has to be the easist to work with most forgiving paint I have ever used. they had a gloss harderner kit out in the 80s that was a two part thay would out shine any base clear out there. but like everything else that works good it's gone. this one if you wet sand and buff will give you as close to the laquare glow as you can get. I guess I'm stuck with going to one of the pollies next. I hate that spray on peal off base clear.

Never mind restoring your beast yourself! Give it to Ed, and the headaches as well. You are money ahead! Next one I get is going directly to Ed to restore that is a sure thing!!! What a beautiful job!
