Progress Report

Hello all, here is a quick up date. Yesterday she had her 4th surgery and is doing well, still in the Trauma ICU and, will head back to surgery on Monday. We've had some BP problems and still on the vent to assist the lungs. She is making some progress daily. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. I read her all of your post on Thursday, I'll re-read them to her when shes able to remember them better, right now its still fuzzeville.

Update as of 2-23

Here is the latest, she had the planned surgery on Monday morning, things went well there, she came of ventilator today and they are planning on removing the feeding tube tomorrow. She ate a very small amount of rice, pudding, bread and pie tonight. She is making some progress. She will be moved to a regular room soon then on to a nursing rehab center after that
Thanks again for remembering her in your prayers. RP

That's our girl Rocky, go for the desserts. Glad to hear she is doing better and once again from not only me & Terri, but the entire PCS Florida Chapter, we are praying for her and for you too. I know God has her in his care.

Update as of 3-4-11

Thanks again for all the emails and calls about Angela. She is showing progress! She began PT this week and it is very tiring, her meds keep her a bit confused and she has some issues going on with a lung and infection in a bone. Still no word on moving to a facility for rehab, the hospital says they will address that after the lung and bone issues are better. I'm thinking that my next report to you will be when she makes that move to rehab. I have spent a lot of time thinking about the large number of people involved in her survival and now her recovery, there is just no way to completly express my thanks to all those many folks.
I have great friends / neighbors that are intertaining my kids tonight so I can get some much needed rest and I'm going to take advantage of it.

Behold...the power of prayer!!!!
Glad to hear things seem to be on the up swing. After our own harrowing ordeal with our son Patrick and his wreck with an 18 wheel dump truck, we can tell you how much prayer helps.
Stay positive and BELIEVE!!!!

Just got an email from Rocky, and Angela has just had her 9th surgery, and is progressing slowly. Rocky said that hopefully this will be the last surgery that will be needed. Please continue to keep Rocky, Angela, and their family in your prayers.
Thanks
Paul
