Ohio 2011

Sorry no, I picked up some non-patterned floor vinyl up today and hope to install before the cruise in this Saturday. The best part about vinyl is it certainly will be easier to work with. Doing a templete out of cardboard then here I come with the razor blade. The brick pattern in the Criterion will stay until I can locate more even though it needs to be replaced. It's not that bad!

I have beeline looking everywhere I could think to replace the Colonial Classic brick paterm for my 67, but so far no luck.

I'm probably use the same industrial grey material that was in when I got the car this winter when I finish the floor for good. I'll keep the old pattern on the back of the folding attendant seat. It does not match, but it'll work.

Glad to see that you're already getting excited about the meet! I'm sure that the Lifeliner will look great. As for the trophies, I promise that our trophies will be the coolest ones that I've ever seen at a PCS meet. I'll leave what they are a surprise, but they are awesome. :)

Yea, I love competition and will do my best to secure one....:14_6_12:

You may have some luck finding some of the old paterns here:

Jean-Marc, I found a roll of Colonial Classic a couple years ago by just calling a lot of individual stores and asking if they had any in their warehouse. One did.

For another M-M that was being restored at the same time, the restoration shop owner found that Armstrong does (did anyway) still make flooring in the same brick pattern, but in tan/brown instead of brick color. While it's not 100% Colonial Classic, it turned out very well and is very presentable.

one letter, all the answers

Dwayne,
Wouldn't a 'far car' be red? You are not really from northern Ohio are you?
Yes, I wish I had thought of that one.

About Terri,
Terri should get a trophy for putting up with Richard.
Her own coach? I say go for it!

Richard,
What Ron said.

Hey Mister "Third Place Trophy" winner (congratulations by the way), I agree she needs something just for putting up with me but you guys have her so excited about the PCS and I'm thrilled for her. Trying to talk her into an older hearse but she is hedging on an older short wheelbased ambulance.
