Ohio 2011

No sense waiting until the last minute so today I begin the process of getting the Lifeliner ready for Ohio. Installing a new rear floor with many other issues getting attention as well including a new paint job. Nothing like spending 3 or 4 grand in order to (HOPEFULLY) get a $25 trophy. :yum:

Geez Richard, talk about getting an early start!! Looks like it will be alot of work, but with the Ga-father at your side, how can you go wrong? Good luck, I am sure it will be awesome when it is finished.

Richard , great video if i,m going to ohio meet i really want to see the Criterion may be bring both ambulance's.

Can you imagine all of those high tops in a row next year? I know there are going to be a lot of them, competition could be pretty fierce. As far as international meets go, I think you will be seeing a diverse mix of cars. I know I am excited about all of the cars coming.

Well I didn't get the floor in because I do not have the flooring. What a job removing that stuff. Using a hammer and very stiff trowel, I removed the floor and most of the glue. It got a good sanding before using wood filler to fill in all the holes. Once dried it got a good sanding. I did sand and repaint the truck box and install new vinyl there. Going with Bill Wright this week to locate flooring and talk to the interior man about new headliner in front, front seat possibly recovered, and new floor in front. Bill mentioned about repainting it is stages getting the roof sanded, primed, and painted to a better quality. Makes sense to me. The vinyl names will come off and hand painted simply saying, "Settle-Wilder".

you should do the lettering in real gold leaf.... :specool:

Well Then Park by My car and MY Car will Look like a MILLION BUCKS LOLRuss

Don't think that is possible smart butt. How are those belts doing Russ? Rumors are you bought something but it cannot be verified. I suppose it will be a couple years to know for sure since it took almost two years to convince me you even had an ambulance. That was an ambulance, right? :yum::yum:

What, are you a song and dance man now Russ? You know what I'm referring to. On a good note, Bill Wright talked to his paint guy and they are willing to do my Lifeliner and the body shop that did my Buick is also very interested in doing it even cutting out bad metal and putting in new. Think I'll see how he does with the Lifeliner and if happy, give him the Criterion. :smiley_w_ballbat:

I'm on a roll here.....
