Hey gang, it's been a while since I posted. Just wanted to share a pic of my 59 Superior combo. I've been chasing this car 15 years and finally caught the owner on a day he was ready to sell.

Some of us have had to wait great lengths of time for the right car, it is great when it finally comes to light. Congrats..
 
Great car. Could you take a picture with the rear door open, I'm curious to see how the small part on the roof opens. Does the car run?
 
It really does look like a fairly solid car!

That car appears to be in much better shape than my '59 Superior was when it came home.

Thanks everyone. I'm oiling the motor now to see if it will free up. Fingers crossed. She'll make a great sister car to my 59 crown. I've been bugging this guy for 15 years, every year, in the winter. This year out of the blue he said he was ready. The best part....in his file for the car he had kept all the notes I had ever left on her or on his porch. I had to use my resto budget for the year for the crown to get her yet hey, it'll all get done sooner or later.

Also, thanks Brady for sharing that picture of your '59. Don't think I could ever see too many pictures of it. Amazing!

I pretty new to these cars, and wasn't sure if the top piece of the back door fliped up when it opened. But I can see now that it all part of the door. Thanks.
