The studio is the insured, and I am listed as "additionally insured" and certificate holder, and on the one I could find right away, liability is included as well. I have a copy of the certificate, and I assume they aren't lying when they send it and that they really do have the insurance listed on the COI.Are you listed as an "additional named insured" on the policy, or does the studio have a blanket policy that covers all rental property? How can you be certain that they have the required insurance, and does the insurance cover just damage to the vehicle, or does it cover liability also? thanks
My contracts have been by the day, as I haven't had a situation like with Ghostbusters where the car would have been used nearly every day for six months - my longest was four days (both "Avalon" in '87 and "We Are Marshall" in '06).
