Personally I hope it all goes well because I ordered 8 books through the link to help the club out.

On another note... I used the money I saved on my copy of the book to become a PCS website Site Supporter ! So the site definitely got helped with my order.



Maybe Paul can let us know what percentage the club gets so people know and will use it more knowing how much it helps out. I can't see it being much but every little bit helps.

I'm sure the shipping date reflects the order date. My order was placed September 11, 2009. The book was ordered before there was any announcement about the Miller-Meteor Event in Piqua. Wasn't going to cancel my order, figured it could be signed later. Std. shipping is being used.

I got the revised date today as well.
10th to 17th of May and I only ordered a couple days ago !


No problem for the MM reunion now for any of us even if you order one now.

The shipping date doesn't appear to reflect the order date. I ordered mine February 17 and my new arrival date is May 10 2010 - May 17 2010.

Jeremy said today that he ordered his way after mine (April 8th), but his new arrival date is April 30 2010 - May 5 2010.

OK, I checked and I did inadvertantly place my order twice. Here's the interesting thing. The order I placed last September was listed as arriving May 10. The order I placed in February is the one that's listed for April 29th. Hunh???? I'll opt for earlier delivery at the same price, thank you!
 
So much for that email this weekend. I just got another email from Amazon. This new one says that my book shipped and that the new expected arrival date is May 3.
 
McPherson's best work ever.

I have had mine now long enough to give it a thorough thumb-through. I believe it is the best work from Mr. McPherson to date, and that is saying a lot. This work is very well organized, very complete, and extremely well illustrated. The print and photo reproduction quality is also first rate. No one is going to be disappointed by This Miller-Meteor Book.
 
Another one lands! So....it's really real. Like many of you, I am also awaiting delivery of mine. I hope it's as good as Brady implied. It'll be interesting to hear what others say when they get theirs. Watch for my review of this much anticipated volume as well.
 
I got an email saying mine were shipped and I will have them April 28th !
I ordered them on April 21st !

So maybe they packed them in reverse of actual ordering. ?!

Sarah ordered in Feb and has an arrival date after mine.
Something is wrong with that picture.

Anyway, I will pick mine up April 15th in Michigan on my way to Billetproof
in Ann Arbour !
So I won't be able to take advantage of the super quick shipping anyway.


One more note... they shipped my 8 copies in two boxes with two tracking numbers ! Don't you think they could have found a box big enough for 8 books ! I can't be the first to order 8 books at once.
Not a big deal, just an observation.


Can't wait to get them !

I'm on the May 3 plan, too according to the Monday night email notifying me the order had shipped. So I'll have my books in time for Piqua if it works out that I can go! (extra exclamation point removed to please Kent Dorsey, heh heh)
 
Darren, you need a new plan.

Your post says you are picking them up on April 15. That is almost an entire year away. And if you mean May 15 then you need to call me since you are going to be an hour away we need to at least meet for lunch.

You are right ! It is May 15th I will be in Ann Arbor for the Billetproof car show.

I won't have a hearse at this show as I am going with a friend who is building a 1932 Ford hot rod.

I will contact you closer to the show and see if you are free for dinner.
The show runs until 3 or 4pm.
