Last Drive of the Year

After doing 4 local Santa Claus Parades in the last 3 weeks, It was time to put the 68 Dodge away in the museum for the winter on Sunday. However, there was that one last task to do first, take my 92 year old dad who is nursing home bound for a ride. Aided by two oldest sons, Kyle and Scott (both Paramedics) and my 4 year old paramedic in training grandson Deighton, it was off to the nursing home. It was interesting to see the boys get their granddad in out of the Dodge on the #30 cot, a lifting device for the most part foreign to both of them. I will let the pics speak for themselves.

Good to see you putting it "back in service"... One last request.. could you please post a close up picture of the corner lights? thanks Paul

lucky you got the boys to help. my first gurney was a 32 lovely device but when we went to pick up grandmother my brother in law pulled his back lifting her. we almost dumped her on the spot. from then on out I have only used the auto load. this the only safe way to go. but there is noting liek gettig to use the car for family keep it up.
