It's Here and yes I already have pictures!

I have had alot of hearses but this thing seems hugh! RUns and drives good with cold air even after sitting for about 8 years. Water pump was leaking alittle but has stopped for the moment so after driving around the block decided to drive the 15 miles home and except for slight tire bump it does good.:yum:

WOW Danny that thing is BIG for sure! Congrats on the find & we're all impressed you have pix so quickly!!!
Danny, thanks for the pics. I think I'm in love, its beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen you post pics so fast. Congradulations. Oh, and congradulations on the car to.:071:

Busy day, we sold three cars including two hearses. Took delivery of the 79 lincoln about 2pm, looked it over some, drove around the block, left work at 5pm and went straight to cemetery for pictures. How about that Josh, all in one day!

Wow, a day like that, and you stil managed pics?:applause: So why did it take 2 months for the limo pics?:bonk:

Nice that the headlight covers work, usually they stop working and you have to open them by hand, aspecially after sitting that many years.:toocool:

So now that the Craigslist ad is gone and Danny has the car, I had to share the funny part of this. I found the car about one month ago listed out there on the world wide web for everyone to see. On top of that, it had been posted on Craigslist for about three weeks, when I found it. When I talked to the owner, it sounded like I may have been the only, or one of the only, people to call him about it. And you want to know why everyone missed it? Because it's not a "Herse"!

Lesson learned... spellcheck!! :yum:

Josh, you are getting on my list that I have Kent on so watch it! Joking! The limo was very dirty and we started sending it in every direction getting stuff done to it so had to wait for return for pictures of it and still need to do some interior shots. This hearse was as you see it not being terribly dirty so went for it. Oh, I had found a fuse in floor and started checking and guess why interior lights not working? You got it, fuse in, lights on! Rear lights still not on yet but save something for tomorrow. Found rest of curtains under front seat but no idea how these were installed on side doors being different from all other hearses I have seen. May be missing some rods but not sure?

Dang it Adam, it is a herse. I have had lots of them and I know a herse when I see one!:gun1:

Now I am not a hearse guy, but that is a nice car! If I were to own a straight hearse that would be one I would like to have. Congratulations Danny that is NICE

Headlight covers were closed when the truck got here with it, they do work correctly and all lights work except for interior lights which I will check soon. Hope the covers surprise me and stay closed like they should. It only has 36,400 miles which I have no doubt is correct.

The headlight covers were open when I looked at the car in the garage a number of years ago, that is how I knew the car was gold, they didn't paint inside them. It's interesting about Adams post too. This car has been for sale for atleast five or more years

Cut it out Danny. You're screwing up the book I'm writing " A Day with Danny Ryder". Things don't usually go that well for you. After a day like that you must be celebrating. :yankchain: All kidding aside, nice car.
