Issue #139 of The Professional Car

Got mine. :) Electronically submitting the print job to the printer is the only way to go these days.

SUPER GREAT idea Sarah. Perhaps we should see if the PCS magazine can be emailed to members who perfer to get it that way saving the PCS money on postage and paper. I would take mine that way and print it out if I want to.

Richard,
My non-pro car club has a group within it for my specific model. I'm the editor of a newsletter for that specific group. Out of almost 90 subscribers only 5 prefer to get it e-mailed, partially due to shipping since one of those is in Canada and another is in New Zealand. I think the rest choose a hard copy so they can refer back to it and also due to the age of some members they're electronically challenged. So, those who choose to receive a pdf by e-mail, they enjoy color pictures and snail mail recipients get black and white.

I know a lot of chapters have gone to e-mailing their newsletters.

I got mine today, I have a question also it says on my account Exp: issue 197 what does that mean?

According to my record on the website, your membership expires with this issue (139) but if the label says you expire with 197, then that would mean that you are paid up for the next 14 1/2 years or 58 more issues... :weneedpics_smi: If you paid that far in advance, it would have been less expensive to take a life membership..

Dad and I got ours yesterday, finally, we get it about the same time as the rest of the country.

Very nice. Who's the guy in the red shirt? ;)

Got mine yesterday and as usual, another great magazine. How the boys keep doing it quarter after quarter is amazing and much appreciated. If you ever wanted to know anything about horse drawn hearses, this is the issue. Tom has out done himself once again.

The other main club I have been involved for decades does theiir newsletters at about 75% e-mail and growing at very renewal period, that as Sarah said really helps the club's expenses and you get it in full color that way too! MM
