Congradulations on the neew car. How much of a roof chop is this one going to get??? :hide:

Congrats Rocky. I bet when you bought the 49 a few years ago you never thought you would add 3 more to the collection. Once you get the pro car disease you have it for life!!!

The holes are there for the cot bar, I bought one at the Ohio meet to put in my 49 but I guess it is going to go into this car, and I will have to look for another. The dealer that I got it from was from Aurora IL, he had it stashed in a garage that he had in the city for the last tenish years and just brought it out. But the car was from Mount Prospect IL before that.

My buddie seen the car at the show that Bruce saw it at,,and at that time he had a piece of paper saying for sale on the dash and wrote it on the windshield. So he texted me the info I had him crawl around the car and told me about it. It ate on me that day because I'm trying to thin down on some of my cars. But the voice in my head that said to go for it took over. I was all excited to get a jump on it before anyone knew about it. Then as I was waiting at the Doctors office for my appointment. I decided to check on the PCS site and low and behold Bruce posted up some pics of it. Well that made me work in overdrive. I called him to see if I could go that night to see the car and buy it. But he had stuff and said lets do it this week. I was like aw man now his phone is going to ring off the wall. But he called me the next day and said if I wanted to come and see it come on over. So it just goes to show you with all the people in our club we have a lot of eyes out there to find and save some great cars. The rest is all history now.

It is a great driving car heck it only has 26,000 miles on it. It is absolutely rust free underneath, and on the top side. Just a little rust scale very minor under one door hem. All the gauges work except the temp gauge. It had one repaint many years ago that is a good five footer. There was a decal on the rear door you can see they did not sand good and painted over it.

Does any one have any pics of what this car may have looked like dressed up for the air national guard? And does any one have any idea would this car of had curtains inside and what would they look like. I really don't see any hole on the door where they would of been and taken off? Any info guys i would appreciate.

Paul believe it or not I really would like to get the ambulance stuff put back on it and leave it alone and just drive it and have fun with it. My intention with the car is have some fun with it and get some of the goodies back on the car and probably sell it. I'm really a hearse guy more then a ambulance guy so I would like it to go for a nice 58 or 50's caddy hearse, Or of course if the right Olds coach came up I would be game for that also? I don't say this to often this is too nice of a car to not keep it in its original form. May be a set of mags Dwayne style perhaps?? But that can alway get changed back if some one does not like it.

Sorry for the confusion I may have caused !!!

See notes in red below to help sort out the confusion...

I was also at Rocky's killer party... talk about a good time !!!

That is a correct statement... to say the least.

Anyway... just so you know... when you buy a car... you need to take someone with you to drive the one you went in home... and I did that !

Kim took the ferry across the lake... Dwayne flew... I did drive with Digger...
but the problem was, that the car was already sold.

It was a 2264 km drive there and back and the old car drove like a brand new car !

I was talking about the Mustang we took, not the car that I couldn't buy as it was already sold.

Unfortunately the blue beast will NOT be in Florida this year but I can guarantee it will be at the 2013 PCS MEET !!!!!

I knew Rocky and Kathy were flying this year but I know Rocky will have it in WI next year ! Lucky guy has a 45 minute drive next year.

Ed was correct... that is a very clean car to have fun with !

Another correct statement... the only problem is that Rocky will be the guy having fun in it, not me. Not really a problem, just a 12 hour drive and I too can have fun in it.

Thanks for reading,
Darren

Sorry for the confusion, but I will be sure to post when I do find another one.

Cheers on the find Rocky !!!

Darren

What! I can't believe it.

So no one noticed the pictures from Rocky's party where all of the vehicles Rocky owns were grouped together? No one including Rocky had to tell me he got a new vehicle and last time I talked to him he never mentioned it. Just gave me some cryptic advice to party like a HoodLum? What the heck is that supposed to mean? Stay tuned, to yet another reveal that PCS might enjoy....................
