I'm going to the SHOW!!!

We will be there, and by WE I mean all of us, new baby and all! Ron, will you still be holding swimming lessons? My vacation requests can't be posted until May, but I won't have any trouble getting the time off, I can always swap shifts. It sounds like it will be a great time. I'm not sure if my car will be there, but if not I will still enjoy the camaraderie just like last year. Hopefully Kevin Parkinson will bring his gang, and the kids can hang out with each other. Ron, if my car isn't there I will be more than willing to help you get one of your cars there.:hide:

Dwayne, you and I can split Shawn when it comes time to detail the cars.:thumb:

Now that should be interesting.......:wowguy:

As for social time in the parking lot, for those of you who have never been to a meet, here is a preview of what the parking lot looks like after dark.....:alc::burp:

Everyone will be fine as long as they don't take all the eggs at the breakfast buffet and leave Ron with no eggs :hide:

Seriously though, it should be a GREAT time and I know I am really looking forward to it!!

It's great to hear that so many of you are planning on coming to the meet! The rest of the meet committee and I are really excited about hosting and having you all be our guests for the week. We have plenty of fun, affordable and unique activities for all of you. This meet will definitely be a memorable one. When was the last time that you went to a PCS meet with go kart races, drive-in movies, cornhole tournaments and dunk tanks? We'll definitely have a lot of cool cars there too. Only five months and 26 days until the meet starts. Can't wait to see you all then! :)

If he wants to pay for the gas, then he can drive his Pinner Chrysler...

You can count on that Brendan. I got a call earlier while I was in EMT refresher though, when I listened to the nervous voicemail I find the need to clarify the following: CORNHOLE IS A GAME INVOLVING TOSSING BAGS OF BEANS OR CORN THROUGH A HOLE. We must remember cornhole and cornholing can mean different things to different people in these United States and other countries. There is another type of cornhole but we will limit the parking lot edition to the toss variety game. :wwpics:

If there is cornhole going on at the meet, I am REALLY excited about being there! Hopefully I'll be able to meet as many of you as possible, but I'll only be able to be there for Saturday. Well, that is unless mission requirements change...

Really this is what can be expected.

I was kidding, thats why the last sentence said "Seriously though...". But I will say there is nothing better than relaxing with a bunch of your PCS pals and having a refreshing drink to end another great day at the meet. Sorry if I upset anyone, not my intention. :poster_oops:

Wow, you guys need to get your heads out of the gutters. Working at a junior high, I thought I had heard all odd terminology, but even I had to google that one. Ron is right, the cornhole that we will be playing is the cornhole bean bag toss game.

Loren, I have two sets that I will have out in the parking lot at night for people to play and practice, but on Saturday afternoon, we will have the tournament. The winning team will even will a trophy!

I don't think anyone is upset, it is a great time, with all of your friends. What is great about this meet is not only can you have a great time in the lot with some drinks, the bar is a car themed atmosphere and fits right into our whole program. It was one of the things that sold us on the location. Also the lot is not a far walk either. This is really some place we are going. After being a ripe old veteran of four whole International Meets I have to say that this may be the best location I have seen yet for an international meet. But I am a little partial :drive2:

Hi Dana, I remember meeting you in Kingston, and talking quite a bit about your car, which I remember to be very nice. At that show we brought my '76 S&S Victoria, and I believe were parked right next to you at the motel. The more the merrier, so I'm glad you'll be able to join us again. My plan is to bring my newly painted '60 Eureka hearse, so I have a lot to do when spring arrives. Looking forward to seeing you there! Tom

Tom,
I REALLY hope you bring that '60 Eureka!! I absolutely love the color and can't wait to see it in person!!! It is just one more very impressive coach that you have!! I also remember your '76 Victoria as being very nice!! as a matter of fact in my photo album of the Kingston meet one of the better photo's I took was of your coach in Fort Henry! I will be coming even in the event that I do not have a coach ready to safely travel. If I think the Cadillac will be too much (I would prefer to pull the engine/transmission to replace leaking seals AND repair the leaking power steering gearbox but thats a LOT of work!! for me anyways!!) then I will try to focus on my Black '76 Superior Buick!!
I will see you all soon!!
Dana Bennett.

The parking lot get-togethers are the best. Nic Bliss seems to always have a beer available with great conversation amongst them all. Nothing like doing the lot until 3 a.m. and being up again at 7 a.m. for the day. Got to hand it to those who can handle it.
:goodnight_smi:

PS: Don't get Ron started on suction cups and there better be plenty of eggs this year!!!!

Who is bringing the Cuban cigars for Jeremy. I was told that they already have a date for him, and she is a real ***. :applause:

Eggs

Our chickens are working overtime to bring you enough eggs to last the entire week.

I am soooo glad you cleared this up, when I read the post I was getting a little scared :4_11_9:.

I was informed it wasn't known nationwide as "cornhole" but another practice of the same name is pretty much known internationally.:3some:
