all very interesting!! I had a picture on my old computer of an early/mid 60's Lincoln hearse. I believe it was European, it was a coupe with long side glass and no curtains, gray or gold in color with cragars, really looked like a sharp car and I typically didn't like European styling. Does anyone have a picture of the car I'm talking about??

Is this the one you mean? It would have started out as a sedan, since Lincoln didnt introduce a 2 door coupe until 1966 : http://cardhouse.com/drcliff/garage/fredscar.htm
 
YES!!!!!!!!! :) That IS the coach I was thinking of!! awe, it's just an awesome car!!!! I did NOT know there were no two door lincolns in that style until 1966!! interesting information!! and yes, now looking at the coach again I can certainly see that the front doors are short like a sedan.
