I found the missing ambulance

what I meant was it's a long since the last ambulance was made in 79, not this one. but send it out I got enough old caddies here to do it. the big thing is the flat tires and the junk inside. you not looking at at any major rust in the quarters or doors just the front end. and all the hard to find stuff is there.
the mold growing can be killed, the mice evicted. yes there are mice it's a high top. the big question to me is does it run?

That's one of those where the first impression just kills you. But then, you can see that it's all there, and for the right person, it is restorable. Of course, the back door is caved in.....

In the first two pictures, we can see what looks like compartment doors on the “D Post” just in front of the back door. What were those for?
I've never seen those before, very interesting. And there's one above the back door as well.

You know, to me, this car looks VERY restorable! It is just in what is there to work with. All the coach material is there. Just need to find all the Cadillac parts to fill in the gaps. A couple of fenders and you are good to go.

Jean-Marc, I saw those areas too, but I am guessing those are the adhesive patches from where stickers once lived (star of life or similar)

the pictures don't show a lot of detail but the damage to the left rear is repairable. the rust over the left rear wheel adds to the repair. but I don't see any rust on the right or damage. the kicker is weather or not the adaptors are there for the rear bumper? the sides and lights are standard caddy but there is a adaptor that goes between them and the caddy bumper ends. if that is gone you have to find a rear bumper for a 74 5 or 6. add in how much is missing or not working in the engine and drive train. once you take out the medicine cabinet the rear door is all most a pop out. front end assemblies complete are about 1,500. but the deciding factor is weather or not your in love with old S&S high tops.

One Maybe two weekends

:thumbsup:Give me some gauze pads and #30 weight ball bearings and clean that gook off the windsheild, two cans of fix a flat and some good starter fluid and you got yourself a real beauty there.....:D

What's not to love?

It looks better then my self recycling 74 M&M that I retired 5 years ago.:) You could drive through it without hitting a thing. It is now an organ donor. (bad frame) It just wouldn't stop running. :) As a bodyman, I see a great car in the pictures. A lot of potential.
