Hunting...

Eterna completed

After a year's worth of work, the 1974 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Eterna 3-way is nearly complete! The green interior is now complimented by a two-tone green exterior paint scheme (the rear portion of the roof looks black, but is actually dark forest green.)

This beauty is ready to go back into service. Hard to believe she sat for 17 years, some of them outside.

This image depicts the color better.

When this car was new, the exterior was green, but a very unattractive shade, based on what we saw peeking through the old black paint. This color scheme suits the car very well.

Thanks, Danny, but the kudos all go to PCS member Mike Robison, the proud owner of this coach. Mike had always wanted an Eterna (and a 3-way was even better) and I just happened to know where one was sitting - still in the hands of a guy I sold it to back in 1994.

Tony, is this the same color as Mikes 69 M-M 3 way?

Very 70s color combo, it fits that car very well. Very sharp coach, it looks great. Congrats to Mike, and thanks for sharing the pics.

Eterna

Being a green freak myself, I LOVE that interior! What a huge difference a color change can make!

The thrill is every bit as much in the hunt as it is the kill, maybe more. Tony just puts on his cologne, attends a lot of funerals, and the prey come close enough to get captured and dragged away!

Beautiful car, Tony and Mike! I had a feeling when Tony mentioned a green coach enthusiast it might be Mike Robison. I really enjoyed seeing his green '69 M-M 3-way in Hudson. In my mind these "last of the big ones" are a pinnacle of design. A Miller-Meteor, S&S, or Superior Crown of the '72-'76 vintage would look better on duty today than any of the new offerings!
