Hello, new member with some pro-car pontiacs

Considering what hit it, it is amazing that the quarter glass didn't shatter, or that there wasn't more roof damage. Looks like you are going to need a rear section of a quarter off a 2 door and someone that has experience fabricating fiberglass panels to fix the rear section. When done, and the whole car is painted, no one will be the wiser...
It the car has over 50,000 miles (not kilometers), then change the timing chain and gears as a precaution, if not, you may loose the engine if it lets go while driving. I used to recommend 70,000, but recently I have heard of cars just over 50,000 miles having the timing chains fail. A few hours labor, and about $200 in parts, and you are good to go for a long time.

Thanks Will...any idea where the mine was or the name of it? What is the license plate number?

Will, you stated the limo was wired for a siren, possible political, they don't here in Ontario, but I do know at one time maybe even today the main cars in Quebec were equipped with a siren for the Premier and certain cabinet ministers,I am sure Rene Leveque had a siren in his car, saw an article on it years ago.

Paul; thanks, the engine will get a complete overhaul. I've found a good quarter for it off an ambulance in Arizona but haven't found a reasonably way to ship it yet. I used to do bodywork for a living, she is in good hands!
Bill, no idea what mine. The plate is still in the car, so can't tell you the plate number til spring when I have the car out of storage.
And Wayne, good to know. This car came from illinois I believe.

Another reason for the siren may be if it was used as a funeral lead car at one time. In my area we do not have police escorts, so the lead car has flashing lights and sometimes hits a siren before intersections. I know of more than a few limousines come in at the pro-car dealer in Iowa equiped with sirens.
