Hacked emails...

It seems that a lot of our members have had their email address's hacked recently. Almost a day doesn't go by that I don't get an email from a forum member, that has a link in it that most likely is going to lead to a virus, or some other malware problem. I just delete these emails, and never open the links. Usually the emais will come with nothing in the subject line, but occasionally, it will have a subject listed.
Some have suggested that our website has been infiltrated, but I can assure you that this hasn't happened, because I had it checked.

OK... ... here are todays hacked email accounts.. good possibility that these forum members don't even know that it has happened....
I will continue this list as I find them, so the rest of you can be safe. If you know of any, please let me know and I will add them to the list.

thanks
Paul

If it has caused a problem for anyone I apologize. Wasn't aware till this morning I got hacked. Went in and changed my password and hopefully that will put an end to the little twits sitting over in Bangkok doing that crap, at least through my emails for a while. I ALWAYS have a relevant subject in the subject line and I never send out just a link to a website, if I do there is an explanation about what it is. So if you get a bogus Bangkok email from me delete at once!

Thank you!

If possible use symbols like &%$@ or # in your passwords if possible and upper and lowercase letters......most passwords can be hacked within seconds without them.

Gmail automatically suspends your email account, and sends an email and/or text message to your backup accounts letting you know that the account has been suspended for suspicious activity. It seems that anytime numerous emails are sent from your account from an overseas IP, they suspend your account and notify you that you must change your password. No emails can be sent or received from your gmail account until you change the password. They also have a provision for you to file an appeal if you feel the emails sent were in fact sent by you.

Not sure if other email providers do this or not, but I appreciate that gmail does it.

As Jeremy stated my apologies for anything that may have been sent to you. I have not Emailed anyone here this week and was unaware of the problem until I received a whole string of undeliverable notices. I too have changed my password.
