Im with you on that! Hearses need landau bars. It will have them on it when im done.
I do need to get the center and end bolt caps for them though. Does anyone have any out there that wants to get ride of some?

I have Superior mounting knob sets of both '59-'62 and '63-'64, not that they're going anywhere. :angel:
May know where another set can be had.

If it were mine I would leave the bars off. Why make it look like all the others when it started as being different from the rest.

Maybe a cost saving ? Maybe the buyer just didn't like them ? Wonder why this baby didn't get them. Anyone know ?

Might be a good hearse to do something custom with, like a wreath. We had a hearse here years ago that didn't have landau bars on it, just a wreath where they normally would go. It was a straight hearse, not a combo.

Just something you could order back then to make your fleet stand out. Other models didn't have them either, the S&S Barone, for example.

Say hello to my little friend. This came from Mullens Coach in Kansas about 11 years ago,sold it to a friend and with the sell of the 62 to Rocky I was able to get it back.
Pics are when I had it but it look,s about the same needs some cleanup and a few odds and ends but nothing big. Thanks to Tom he gave me the selling info from his Flxible records.= It was Flxible's body number 1351. It was sold by the Cole Miller Coach Company of Kansas City, Missouri to George Chaput Sons in Concordia, Kansas and delivered to them on June 21, 1963.
