the boys came out to help me take apart and put back together some more. they work for treats. You don't get a lot out of them ,but I cut the treats into thirds also so we are even.
what we ended up doing on the back door molding was to have the remaining chrome striped and that took the build up from the electrolysis away. then we could slid the t bolts back in then we sanded out he tracks from it eating between the copper and the aluminum and buffed it out. we filled the gone parts on the top edge with the all metal filler and that locked in the 3 t bolts that were the worse. you can see it but not bad till I find another one. the ones going around the corner weren't as bad and a little sanding they polished up like they should. the crown was the only one plated anyway.
the last picture is the only one I took of the trim on the car.
