Gasket question

I will need to replace the gaskets on the front sign, the antenna and the shore line receptacle.

The front sign is currently made out of cork and is sticking out a little. Must be collecting moisture from the Atlantic air after being in the dry Alberta climate for the last decade.

Do you recommend I use a cork gasket again for the front sign or should I go for a rubber gasket? The rubber gasket I would use I'd from an old tire tube.

I plan to use rubber gaskets for the antenna and the shore line receptacle.

Contact a roofing company that does commercial roofing. They use large rolls of sheet rubber, and they will probably give you a piece of remnant for free. Make your outline using a ball point pen, and cut out with a good quality scissor. Use rubber cement to hold one side to the plastic. If I remember correctly there is a gasket on both sides of the plastic. Try to find a hole punch for the screw holes. This is what I use when I need to use a rubber gasket.
