FYI, my grandfather was the 1 person medical staff onboard the parade of progress. My mom has all kinds of stuff like letters and papers about the parade of progress.

I believe there where 12 in total from the second set of them that was built. the only one i saw up close before restoration was the one in auburn sitting behind the natmus museum , i do remember a cadillac dealership in detroit had one.

The one that was at NATMUS that got restored WAS the one from the Cadillac dealership in Detroit.

i love these things!!!!! I have always found these things SO neat and never figured I would ever get to SEE one in person!!!

Well, last year at the Dunkirk, NY swap meet, I went with my friend Tim and as I stopped by a table towards the end of one of the buildings to look (gawk!!) at all this stuff spread out on it about the Futurliners and such I heard him say "Well, if you like THAT stuff then you're going to LOVE this!!" and what was just outside the building but a fully restored Futurliner!!! Freaking awesome!!!!!!!!! I loved seeing it up close and personal!! I did not pay to go up and sit in it but thats ok, still awesome!!!
