Fleet Photos

Great photos Ron...
The van reminds me of how modern looking Twinsonic lights were when they came out... now, they look a bit bulky and most I remember ran pretty slow. Many police agencies here went straight from Beacon Rays right to Twinsonics... except the NC Highway Patrol which used 184's for many, many years...probably until early 90's...

BTW, Ron, I've asked the folks at Sarcoxie a couple of times for any photos of this girl when she was in service. If I ever get anything, I'll pass it on to you.

Bruce, MCCC was the predecessor to Stratus Specialty Vehicles (no longer in business) in Kansas City, MO.

Thanks Steve, they never returned my calls and I would love to send their FD some photos to show she is alive and well.

that light should be there tomorrow. it went out by pack mule just last week.

Now that I am all flickred up thanks to Dwayne, I have been loading photos like crazy. I am planning on a series of befores and afters of when I got em and after I got my hands on them. Will lay out some carrots for the mule. Of course even when it gets here it will have to wait for my Technical Advisor Mr. Jacobson

Ahh, yes. I'm hoping to get the tires put on my '75 tomorrow. Next will be an AC compressor, but hopefully preceded by technical advisor/body expert Gordy's help in getting my beacon trimmed for installation. I told him Jerry J's recipe :)

Brendan, here is the link to Ron's Flickr photostream. You can view all pix he's uploaded so far here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26160540@N05/

I'm going to teach Ron how to link pictures later today...

Ron doesn't need to link pictures, he needs to stay home long enough that I can teach him how to post the pictures on the site. He is a PCS Member and a Super Site Supporter, so that gives him lots of room for pictures. Membership has its privileges..

Sarcoxie

Interesting that your Ford is from Sarcoxie, Ron. My coach was owned by Housh Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, MO from 1996-2007.

That is very interesting Brad, maybe Steve can answer this question, just how big of a town is Sarcoxie?

Wow Ron, the 64 is beautiful. You have one hell of a great looking fleet. I like the Poncho more and more every time I see it.
