Another thing to remember about tires...
If you do not plan on using them for a while... they do go bad just sitting on the shelf. They are rubber and they decompose just sitting.
Just because they are new tires now, doesn't mean they will be fresh when you go to use them two years later.
Bag them to keep the light and dirt off them. Light, heat and sun will rot them without ever being on the road.
keep them in a cool dry place. Not near a window that the sun passes through at some point in the day.
