. As for the 4100 engine, I had one with over 180,000 miles on it and it was still running good when I sold the car in 1992. I changed anti-freeze and added the GM pellets. The car always ran great and got excellent MPG. Kinda sluggish but with fuel prices around four bucks its worth the trade-off.
It is interesting to note various differences between the black and white examples, especially the rear side door glass. Looks like the white car has plexiglass in the rear side doors, or is that just a shadow I'm seeing at the top?
