I was able to get in contact with a gentleman that used to work for BioCom and is actually restoring a couple of these units. We had a good conversation this morning.
He has a website dedicated to these units. Lots of good information there.
What i thought it was. The lack of advanced life support on the frontier did not bring out any of this earlier equptment here. So we missed the mother may I days of EMS.
I had the local Battery House build me a dual purpose charging system for the Biophone where I can either use a transformer connected into the wall or connect through the car's 12V system.
I was also able to test the unit's Rx and Tx functions and it was a success on 9 of the 10 channels. I was able to speak with my cousin which is located 15.4 kms (9.6 miles) from me as the crow flies.
