I, too, felt that a little lettering on the CB was fine, but he got a little carried away and it looked cluttered to me.
Having "Radio Dispatched" or "Oxygen Equipped" was important only in places where this ambulance service was competing against that ambulance service, and this company wanted to imply that that service may not have offered those features (whether it was true or not). Not sure I like to recreate that cutthroat kind of competition.
Just a thought, but do you know where it was originally in service? Is there a photo of it from the era? I'm just saying that because sometimes, what the car originally looked like may be more interesting (and historic) than anything you could make up.
