All the Hub Bub

Back in the mid70s, I ran out of a 1969 & a 1970 C-B ambulance with 48 inch headroom. The 69 was the better of the two. It featured a Federal 184 Beacon Mid roof as well as the two large red flashers over the windshield and two smaller red flashers on the raised roof. It had two underhood speakers for the electronic siren. The 70 had a "Spit-Fire" lens beacon mid roof and two Mars 888 lights over the windshield. These had "froze up" but still lit up. We wired a flasher to them and made them useful. I agree that the 455 engine made these units go and the ride was every bit as good as the Caddys.

I have always liked the 69-70 Oldsmobiles...my mother drove a 69 Delta 88 4 door hardtop for almost 10 years, have a lot of good memories in that car. Lady next door had a 70 98 sedan in a light blue similar to this one, I remember it well. Enjoy this car, looks like a great one!
